Our vision for children’s ministry at the Almont Vineyard Church is to first and foremost show children Jesus. We want children to understand God’s love for them; that Jesus has a place for them in his kingdom and that place is now (not a place only an adult can fill- Matt. 19:14). We believe children are not just the future of the church but are to be embraced as active participants of the body even in their youth. We take very seriously our role in delivering this and all the treasures of the scripture to the children. We strive to be constant in the testimony of our walk with Jesus and of all we know of his works.

A Note on Safety:

 

At the AVC, we believe children are a precious gift from God and therefore, we take the safety of your children seriously.  Children are escorted to Children's church by a staff member and are not released until picked up by their registered guardian.  All children who are dropped off in the Nursery must be signed in and out by their guardian.  Also, every staff member and volunteer that will be working with children must pass a security background check and attend training specific to the area in which they are serving.

Children

Jesus said in Mark 10:14 "Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of God belongs to such as these." We joyfully welcome all God's children to come and be nurtured and ministered to here at Almont Vineyard Church. Nursery and Preschool classes are provided starting at 10:20 each Sunday. Nursery is offered for children ages birth through 2 years; while a separate Preschool class is offered for children ages 3 through 5. We offer Sunday School for K-12th grade before our service and Children’s Church for grades K-5th during the sermon portion of our Sunday service.  The last Sunday of each month is our Family Service and Children’s Church is not held.   


 

 

We have a fully staffed Nursery available during our Sunday Service.
