Almont vineyard Church Food Pantry
Thursdays from 3 -5 pm. Holiday hours vary.
*Note: during the winter months, the food pantry is closed when Almont Community Schools are closed
It takes a community to feed a community
Locally, AVC has an outreach that provides food to the community weekly on Thursdays.
Since 2008, Manna Food Pantry has been providing food and practical assistance to families who find themselves facing times of need. In 2020 alone, this outreach provided enough food to supply more than 14,000 meals to individuals and families in our community.
Manna Food Pantry is funded entirely through the generous donations of individuals, businesses, and private grants. With these resources, we are able to purchase food through local food banks, receive generous contributions from community food drives, and partner with other organizations and community resources.
Our local farmers are also an invaluable part of this ministry. Throughout the growing season, they generously donate fresh, locally grown fruits and vegetables, helping us provide nutritious food to the families we serve.
